Dit onderdeel van het befaamde filmfestival zet beginnend regietalent in de kijker. Opvallendste keuze dit jaar is de tweede film van Franse <i>Inglourious Basterds<\/i>-actrice M\u00e9lanie Laurent.\u00a0De jury wordt dit jaar voorgezeten door regisseuses Andrea Arnold en Rebecca Zlotowski.
