De filmmaker, bekend om zijn sociaal realistische portretten, kondigden namelijk aan dat hij na het Ierse drama <i>Jimmy\u2019s Hall <\/i>&#8211; dat trouwens meedingt naar de Gouden Palm later deze maand &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0enkel nog maar documentaires zou maken. \u00a0Loach beweert nu dat de uitspraak een impulsieve reactie was tijdens de heftige preproductie van <i>Jimmy\u2019s Hall<\/i>.
