Ook ten huize Vertigo. Naar aanleiding van de verfilming van <i>Divergent<\/i> vroegen we aan onze filmredacteurs wat ze nu eens \u00e9cht goeie filmbewerkingen vonden en waar ze gekrulde tenen van kregen. De resultaten leveren je een blik op in de geesten van onze meest dierbare medewerkers.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Vandaag zet hoofdredacteur <strong>Steven Tuffin<\/strong> zijn favoriete en meest gehate boekverfilmingen op een rijtje.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0LOVE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Film: <\/b><b><i>Road to Perdition <\/i><\/b><b>(2002) van Sam Mendez<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Bron:<\/b><b><i> <\/i><\/b><b>de graphic novel <i>Road to Perdition <\/i>(1998) van Max Allan Collins<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ik heb de grapic novel waarop de film gebaseerd is nooit gelezen en weet niet of ik dat ooit zal doen. Na het pijnlijk slechte <i>The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen<\/i> (2003) kan je hem moeilijk ongelijk geven. Rowling<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ja, Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n is een filmgod. Ja, <i>Children of Men<\/i> is een van mijn favoriete films van het vorige decennium. En ja, dit is de beste film uit de hele <i>Harry Potter<\/i>-reeks. Toch lukt het zelfs de Mexicaanse meester-cineast niet om het J.K. Zijn verhaal over een legendarische strijd in het antieke Griekenland heb ik niet gelezen en de migraineverfilming van Zack Snyder heeft ervoor gezorgd dat dat ook nooit zal gebeuren.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UrIbxk7idYA\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Film: <i>The Road<\/i> (2009) van John Hillcoat<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Bron:<\/b><b><i> The Road<\/i> (2006) van Cormac McCarthy<\/b><\/p>\n<p>De gebroeders Coen bewezen met <i>No Country for Old Men <\/i>(2007) dat het werk van weerbarstig schrijftalent Cormac McCarthy wonderwel te vertalen is naar het witte doek.
